A WhatsApp alternative that doesn't need your phone number.
BharatApp Chat does the everyday things you use WhatsApp for — chats, groups, calls, photos and status — but you sign up with a @username, so your mobile number stays private.
How BharatApp Chat compares
WhatsApp is a good, end-to-end encrypted app used by millions. BharatApp Chat is for people who want the same kind of messenger without giving their phone number to everyone they talk to.
Sign-up
WhatsApp: your mobile number.
BharatApp Chat: a @username and a Gmail address — no phone number.
Who can message you
WhatsApp: anyone who has your number.
BharatApp Chat: only people whose request you accept.
Encryption
Both are end-to-end encrypted. BharatApp Chat deletes each message from its server once it's delivered.
