Delete your BharatApp Chat account
BharatApp Chat by Kalisi Media Private Limited.
In the app (fastest)
- Open BharatApp Chat and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type your @username to confirm and tap Delete.
On the website
Log in at bharatapp.chat, open Settings → Delete account and confirm with your @username.
By email
Can't log in? Email support@bharatapp.chat from the Gmail address on your account, with your @username. We will verify it's you and delete the account within 7 days.
What is deleted
Deleted straight away: your Gmail address, @username, display name, profile photo, password check value, public key, contacts and blocks, status posts and their files, logged-in devices, push tokens, and any messages still waiting for delivery.
Kept for up to 180 days: one-way fingerprints of messages you forwarded (never their content), kept only to answer lawful orders under Indian law, then deleted automatically. They are no longer linked to your email or username.
Your Google Drive backup is in your own Drive: remove it from Google Drive → Settings → Manage apps → BharatApp Chat → Delete hidden app data.
